Review
My Way to Good Manners is a delightful and engaging way to teach kids about manners. The story follows Melissa, a cheerful young girl who often forgets her manners. Her behavior pushes her friends away, leaving her feeling lonely and sad, which ultimately helps her realize the importance of good manners.
As I’ve been navigating behavioral challenges with my child, this book was a timely and perfect read. It turned out to be one of my best Kindle Unlimited finds! Reading it together not only entertained my child but also helped her understand the difference between good and bad behavior and their consequences. While she already knew right from wrong, this story encouraged her to think critically about her actions instead of simply doing what we say.
The best part of the book is how it provides multiple relatable scenarios, making it easier for kids to understand the impact of their behavior in different situations. It also offers practical insights on how to handle situations that test their manners. The inclusion of a “manners list” was a brilliant touch. Seeing Melissa carry her list around inspired my child to create her own. While she may not take it everywhere, it’s a wonderful starting point!
The illustrations are vibrant and full of color, which immediately captivated my child. Overall, this book is a fantastic resource for parents looking to make lessons on manners fun and memorable. Highly recommended!

Review
My Way to Good Choices is another fantastic installment in My Way Series, starting with Melissa—a usually lovely and lively girl—who gets angry when her younger brother ruins her doll. In her frustration, she breaks his favorite toy. It’s a scenario most parents can relate to (myself included), and simply telling kids that their actions were wrong doesn’t always work, especially in the long term. They need to understand and process it on their own, too.
Reading this book with my child was an amazing experience. She immediately recognized that Melissa’s reaction wasn’t the right choice, though I know she might have done the same in a similar situation. As we read further, I loved how the story opened up opportunities for us to discuss better ways to handle such situations.
Like the other book in this series, the author presents multiple relatable scenarios, each offering valuable lessons. I especially appreciated the solution emphasized in this book: stopping for a moment, breathing through your emotions, and thinking about the situation and the consequences of the choices you make.
My child enjoyed this so much that we read it more than once, and I can tell she’s becoming a fan of this series. I’m excited to encourage her to practice the “Stop. Breathe. Think. Choices and Consequences” approach in real life.
The illustrations are absolutely adorable, with expressive characters and pleasing, vibrant colors. Highly recommended for parents looking to nurture emotional intelligence in their kids!

Review
My Way to Kindness is a beautifully illustrated installment in My Way Series that begins with Melissa, a sweet and lovely girl who struggles with showing kindness to her mother. She forgets to appreciate the treats she receives, neglects to say thank you, and doesn’t follow her mother’s instructions. Her best friend, a teddy bear, decides to teach her the value of kindness by taking her on a dream journey to the magical Kingdom of Sweets.
I loved the idea of the Kingdom of Sweets, which can inspire kids to imagine their favorite sweets and treats while creating their own magical version of the kingdom. As with the other books in this series, the author presents a variety of scenes, showcasing how kindness is a way of life in the kingdom and how it brings happiness to everyone who lives there.
The book delivers a beautiful message about the importance of kindness and emphasizes that no act of kindness goes unnoticed. I also really liked the idea of earning a freckle as a reward for each act of kindness. It’s a fun and creative concept, and parents can adapt it into their own reward systems to encourage kindness in their children.
The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, perfectly complementing the story and capturing children’s attention. This is a lovely book to teach kids about the joy and impact of being kind to others. Highly recommended!

Review
My Way to Keep Anger Away is a vibrantly illustrated addition to the My Way series, featuring Melissa, a sweet and lovely girl who struggles with managing her anger.
When her mother asks her to eat her veggies before dessert or when her brother breaks her toy, Melissa gets upset and holds onto her anger, even as she goes to bed. In her dream, she finds herself in an underwater world where she meets different sea animals. Each one asks why she’s angry and shares their unique methods for dealing with anger.
Anger is a natural emotion that all kids experience, and I appreciated how the story normalizes it. Each animal acknowledges their own feelings of anger without dismissing Melissa’s emotions or labeling them as “wrong.” This gentle approach is a valuable reminder for parents, who might sometimes overlook the importance of validating their child’s feelings.
I loved how the author used the animals to present a variety of relatable scenarios and practical techniques to manage anger. The inclusion of the catchy Anger Away song is a delightful touch that kids will enjoy chanting. The story also introduces simple but effective strategies, like counting and breathing techniques exercises. At the end, the author provides five grounding techniques, which cater to different needs and preferences, making them accessible for all children.
This book is not only a great tool for teaching kids how to handle anger but also a fun and engaging read. Highly recommended for both kids and parents looking for creative ways to manage big emotions!

Review
My Way to Making Friends is a another heartwarming and charming book in My Way Series that addresses shyness and emotional challenges in forming friendships.
The story follows Melissa, a shy and lonely girl who wishes for friends but doesn’t know how to build or maintain friendships. When another girl invites Melissa to join a sandcastle-building competition with other kids, they lose, and Melissa’s frustration leads her to break their sandcastle and run away. That night, she dreams of the Kingdom of Friendship, where her Teddy guides her to meet various animals who teach her the values of true and sincere friendship.
As with the previous books in this series, me and my kid loved exploring the different scenes and learning from the animals, who provide valuable lessons about friendship. They show Melissa the importance of celebrating a friend’s success, supporting them during failures, apologizing when wrong, and forgiving to keep friendships strong. The story beautifully illustrates how rewarding genuine friendships can be when nurtured with kindness and understanding.
This book was a wonderful way to help my child learn about both starting and maintaining friendships. While she doesn’t struggle much with making friends, like Melissa, maintaining them has been a challenge. The story provided her with practical lessons in a fun and engaging way.
The friendship checklist at the end of the book is a fantastic addition—it not only reinforces the key points but can also be used as a reward system to encourage positive behavior in friendships.
Highly recommended for parents and kids looking to explore the joys and responsibilities of building meaningful connections!
