Blurb (in my words):

Death is waiting at the doorstep of the house who has just lost its loved one. Always greeted by pain and tears of human, feeding on emotions, that he couldn’t understand, meets a little girl Stella, different from all humans he has encountered till now,,, changes his heart make him break the rules. What will he do now?

I always love this death concept.
At The Horizon’s End, I couldn’t help but recall my favorite book ‘The Book Thief’, is a story about death and little girl. The story is full of compassion, love, and innocence of little girl. About human emotions that are so rare and strong that it can touch the heart of death and make him bow down.
My favorite line from the book:

You dream, and our love for you, stretch as far as horizon’s end.

The first half was narrated by Death and the second half was from Stella’s point of view. It was a touching story about loss and grief and little girl Stella make us view these two heavy feelings in her innocent way. Stella was such an adorable girl that she stole my heart and I could see why death realized his mistake and could feel this human differently. I loved her simple question, “After all, Mommy said they’d see each other again when the time comes At Horizon’s End. So if they’ll meet again, why is everyone crying?” Innocent questions of Stella and her love for her parents was incredibly written.

Writing was nice and gripping. In few pages only author had made me in love with the story. It’s sad and breathtaking story that anyone will enjoy reading.
Who should read it? If you have enjoyed ‘The book Thief’ you will love this short story too.
