My name is on the deed.

Review

Final Offer, the last book in the Dreamland Billionaires series, lives up to everything the previous books promised and honestly, it might just edge past them for me. This one follows Cal and Alana, and from book one itself it was obvious these two had history. You just knew there was a messy breakup sitting in the background waiting to explode. This book finally gives you the full story, the how and the why.

Cal is forced, thanks to his grandfather’s will, to reconnect with Alana. Not only that, he has to sell the summer house at Wisteria Lake. Problem is, Alana is already living there with her kid and claims the house was signed over to her. Turns out, plot twist, they are co-owners and now have to deal with each other whether they like it or not.

And they really do not like it.

Alana has barely moved on. She says she has, but it is very obviously a lie she keeps telling herself to function. Letting Cal back into her life feels like inviting heartbreak all over again, and she knows exactly how that story ends.

Cal, on the other hand, walks in fully aware that he is not welcome. Not in her life, not in the town. But being around her again makes it painfully clear that she has always been the missing piece. The only problem is, he cannot have her unless he is willing to face his addiction, and he is also hiding the real reason behind the will and the house sale.

So now you have forced proximity, unresolved feelings, secrets, and two people who are clearly still in love but stubborn enough to make it complicated. Perfect recipe for drama.

What really worked for me was how the story takes its time. Nothing feels rushed. Both Cal and Alana are carrying a lot of emotional baggage and the author actually lets them sit with it. For Cal, it is his alcohol addiction and everything that led him there. For Alana, it is trust, fear, and the constant belief that her love is never enough to make someone stay.

Cal was easily my favorite part of the book. He is very self-aware, which makes his journey hit harder. He knows he is messed up. He knows exactly where he went wrong. He just never had enough reason to fix it until Alana walked back into his life. And what I loved most is that his growth does not come from wanting to win her back. It comes from finally choosing himself. That shift made all the difference.

His backstory was genuinely heartbreaking. First his father, then the injury that ended his sports career, and everything spiraled from there. Watching him lose himself and then slowly rebuild was painful but so satisfying. And with Alana, you get to see a completely different side of him. Soft, caring, patient, and surprisingly great with her kid even though he keeps insisting he is not cut out for that role.

Alana, on the other hand, is strong but also frustrating at times. She is a wonderful mother and incredibly kind, but she holds on too tightly to her fears. And while it makes sense given everything she has been through with her sister and her past, there were moments where I just wanted to shake her a little. Especially when it came to Cal.

But at the same time, her perspective on addiction felt very real. Her fear, her anger, her belief that love should be enough to fix someone. And then slowly realizing that it is not that simple. That an addict has to choose recovery for themselves. That arc was handled really well and made her growth feel earned.

Their relationship overall felt raw and messy in the best way. It is not just romance, it is two people trying to unlearn years of hurt and figuring out if they can rebuild something healthier.

The side characters were such a treat. Seeing Iris and Zahra again was everything I wanted. The dynamic between the brothers and their partners finally felt complete here, and those group moments added so much warmth to the story. The Dreamland scenes and the conversations between Alana and Iris were some of my absolute favorites.

There is also more insight into their father and the inheritance clause, which adds an extra layer to the story. And while the climax was predictable, you could see the conflict coming from miles away, it still worked emotionally. I did not love how Alana handled that situation, but Cal completely won me over there. The way he chose her, not out of obligation but because he genuinely wanted a future with her, was exactly what the story needed.

And that ending… so satisfying. Seeing Cal sober, grounded, and fully in love with Alana and her kid just hits differently after everything they went through. The epilogue was the cherry on top.

Overall, Final Offer is an engaging, emotional, and addictive billionaire romance that does not shy away from heavier topics. It balances angst, healing, and romance really well and gives this series the kind of ending it deserved.
