This year has been nothing short of magical when it comes to my reading journey. Along the way, I discovered some absolutely incredible authors who were new to me in 2024. Here are New to Me Authors in 2024-

Ann EinersonAspen Grove Series

This series transported me to the charming small-town of Aspen Grove, filled with heartwarming moments, memorable characters, and amazing family dynamic. I read 3 books in this series in 2024 and I can’t wait to read other upcoming books.

Stephanie ArcherFake Out

Who doesn’t love a good fake dating trope? This is second in series. First one felt okay but this turned out amazing. Archer’s humor and chemistry between her characters kept me hooked from start to finish. This is feel-good, swoony delight that I highly recommend for sports romance readers.

Krista & Becca RitchieAddicted Series

I have read two books in Addicted series last year and they were an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way. Both books turned out really different from what I expected and it was a good different. I found myself completely immersed in the Calloway sisters’ world, rooting for their love, friendships, and personal growth.

Brandon SandersonMistborn Trilogy

Sanderson’s world-building is truly unparalleled. The Mistborn Trilogy was a masterclass in epic fantasy, with twists and turns that left me breathless. I finally understand why everyone raves about his work!

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches - cozy and magical contemporary

This book was pure comfort—a cozy, magical read that felt like a warm hug. Mandanna’s characters were so endearing, and the themes of found family and self-acceptance made it a favorite.

Every Time I Go on Vacation Someone Dies - Cozy Mystery

This quirky title caught my attention, and the story didn’t disappoint! A sharp, witty mystery with plenty of twists, it had me guessing till the end.

Sudha Murty’s storytelling is so simple yet so impactful. This collection have amazing stories filled with morals and messages perfect for kids age 8+.

Wish You Weren't Here

This was heartwarming and cozy contemporary that I read at right time. It made me feel happy and hopeful and left me smiling at the end.

T.J. KluneCerulean Chronicles

Klune has a way of crafting stories that feel larger than life while still being deeply personal. The Cerulean Chronicles were whimsical, heartfelt, and unforgettable.

Toshikazu KawaguchiBefore the Coffee Gets Cold Series

These gentle, thought-provoking books explored the “what ifs” in life with a unique time-travel twist. Kawaguchi’s stories were bittersweet. I have read 3 books so far and I can’t wait to finish this series in 2025.


I feel so grateful to have discovered these incredible authors this year, while also finally getting around to reading some I’d been planning to for ages. Each one brought something special to my reading life, and I’m already looking forward to diving into more of their works in the future.
