WEEKLY WRAP-UP #WEEKINREADING (13/4/’20)

Hello Readers! I hope you all are safe at home. Here the cases are increasing and most of the cities are sealed, even small areas and now authorities are not letting anybody out of the area even for grocery shopping. Good thing is Amazon is delivering essential things and for vegetables and milk we have a shop near home. It’s kind of good, helping in controlling spread and there’s so less pollution in the air and the peace is eternal bliss, otherwise there’s constant noise of passing vehicles and blaring horn. As for the reading. I’m relax reading. It feels good to read books without deadlines or pressure.

What I read last week-

The Twin by Natasha Preston

Okay, this was good in most parts but ending ruined it. There was just one thing, evil twin trying to take over good twin’s life, how and why and if she succeed in it or not. Ending was not satisfactory. It burst my bubble of good wins the battle with evil. And I still can’t shrug the anxiousness this book gave. Review will be up this week. Might be 3.5 stars from me.

Currently Reading-

I finished 200 pages of this mammoth. Still 600 to read. It’s going to take 2 more weeks if I read this simultaneously.

The Memories We Bury by H.A. Leuschel

In ‘The Memories We Bury’ the author explores the dangerous bonds we can create with strangers and how past memories can cast long shadows over the present. 

I’m halfway through this book. I plan to finish this book by tomorrow. So far I know both women- Lizzie and Morag perfectly and I can see what Morag is trying to do. I can’t wait to see what that husband was hiding, what Morag did to her son, and how Lizzie is going to confront him and see through Morag’s intentions.
