November 2024 Wrap Up: Challenges Progress and Exciting Travels Ahead

Hello Readers! I hope you’re all in a festive spirit and had a wonderful November. My month was a mix of challenges and blessings. While some moments were difficult and a bit disappointing, overall, things have worked out in our favor. Join me as I reflect on the month’s highlights—Challenges, Progress, and Exciting Travels Ahead —in this November 2024 Wrap Up post.

This past week has been especially uplifting. I’ve seen remarkable progress in my child, which has brought so much joy. However, the school’s attitude remains unchanged, and it seems unlikely to improve anytime soon. It’s a test of patience, and as a mother, it’s hard not to take their comments personally. But following everyone’s advice, we’ve decided to focus on what truly matters—our child—and let go of the negativity.

On a brighter note, all the details for our upcoming trip are finalized! After some research and packing, we’re all set to catch our flight today at 2 a.m. Excitement is in the air!

Take a look at my November highlights and a recap of the week here:

Books Read in November 2024

The House in the Cerulean Sea is a heartwarming and enchanting urban fantasy about belonging, acceptance, and kindness, woven with humor, warmth, and meaningful messages. Loved this so much that I regret not reading this earlier. ★★★★★

Somewhere Beyond the Sea is a heart-melting, uplifting cozy LGBTQ fantasy about love, kindness, and the power of family. This was the best in this series and I loved it even more than The House in the Cerulean Sea. ★★★★★

If You Give a Billionaire a Bride is an uplifting, cozy, and delightful childhood friends-to-lovers romance that I couldn’t put down. I enjoyed knowing Cash more here and I loved sibling dynamics. ★★★★

eMortal is a compelling speculative AI sci-fi that reflects on life, human nature, and the psychology of artificial intelligence. The novel masterfully balances thought-provoking themes with an engaging story. ★★★★

Ricochet is emotive and heartfelt contemporary that shows Lily’s struggle to her sex addiction, staying true to her commitment and love to Loren and fighting her addiction without Loren who is in rehab fight his own alcohol addiction. I still haven’t polished rough draft I have written but I will post review as soon as I return from my trip. ★★★★

Surviving the Storm is an engaging erotica thriller with emotional complexity of the tangled relationships. While the interpersonal drama adds intrigue, I found the story somewhat underwhelming. ★★★

Living with Adi is a moving, relatable Neurodiverse Middle Grade Fiction about acceptance, love, and the unexpected joys. Highly recommended for anyone who has ever felt like they don’t quite fit in. ★★★★

The Light Within You is a vibrant, touching story about the bond between a girl and her grandmother. Set against the backdrop of Diwali, it beautifully highlights themes of family, identity, and finding joy both within and with others. ★★★★

All books in My Way series – My Way to Keep Anger Away , My Way to Kindness, My Way to Making Friends, My Way to Good Choices, and My Way to Good Manners – are a treasure trove of wisdom for both parents and kids. From handling anger to fostering friendships, each book brings valuable lessons to life with creative storytelling, vibrant illustrations, and actionable tips. Highly recommended for families who value growth, empathy, and connection. I might publish the post while I’m on the trip but if in case I cannot, review will be up next week.

Plans for December

  • Leaving for trip to Dubai on 3rd and will return on 10th. I’m really excited for my first international trip, my kid definitely is. Both my family and my my husband’s family are going together for the first time so let’s see how that is going to work out.
  • I don’t have data roaming and I hardly will get time for blog hop but I’m taking Holiday reads with me so I hope to read them on flight and whenever I get time.
  • Don’t have other plans for the rest of the December as of now.
