Delectable Foodie Romance of 2022
Hello Readers! I hope you all are well. This year I read many romance and contemporary books that I can divide into different list and what can be better than a delectable foodie romance that has spices both in descriptions and in plot. So here are Delectable Foodie Romance of 2022 I read and also the ones released this year and are on my TBR.
Delectable Foodie Romance of 2022
(Click on title to read full review)
The Spice Master at Bistro Exotique by Samantha Verant – heartwarming hate-to-love contemporary romance with an amazing description of food and concept of scent of spices that transport to places is really good with the setting of Paris and its non-touristy corner.
A Dash of Salt and Pepper by Kosoko Jackson – heartwarming and entertaining small town m/m romance about a man returning to small town and falling in love with all amazing tropes and mature relationships.
Donut Fall in Love (Donut Fall in Love #1) by Jackie Lau – heartwarming, swoonworthy, entertaining, and delectable romcom with celebrity falling for normal person trope. This is one of the best in this list and I highly recommend it.
Sadie on a Plate by Amanda Elliot – heartwarming, dramatic, entertaining, and fast paced forbidden contemporary romance that food lovers wouldn’t want to miss.
The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie by Rachel Linden – meaningful, touching, emotive, and bittersweet contemporary with touch of magical realism. This is more women’s fiction/contemporary than romance.
(Click on title for Synopsis)
Ramón and Julieta (Love & Tacos #1) by Alana Albertson, Alana Quintana Albertson – It’s easy from the title to tell it’s Romeo and Juliet retelling but what sounds really exciting is traditional mouthwatering food and culture. This will be on the top of my to-read list next year.
Love from Scratch by Kaitlyn Hill – This sounds lovely and fun romcom with cooking show. If I get enough time I sure will be reading this before year end.

Wow, this is a lot of romances centered around food. I have a couple of these on my TBR, so need to read them, but will make sure I am not hungry when I do.

I hope you enjoy the ones on your TBR. I ate a lot while reading these books but I don’t regret reading them, just eating!

Awesome picks, Yesha! While romance is not a go-to genre for me, this list sounds good. 😀

I didn’t realize so many romances had a food theme. I guess it makes sense since there are so many metaphors between love/romance and food. What an interesting way to look at these stories. Excellent post!
