Hello Readers! I hope you had great month. Birthday month turned out good both in life and in reading. We booked our house, bought some books, got a rental home until our house is getting ready, and I started watching Emily in Paris. I watched only 4 episodes and I enjoyed it so far. November is going to be busy month with Diwali and upcoming wedding and at the end of the month we are going to Hyderabad to get our furniture here.

It was about science vs religion, terrorism, hope and faith, good vs evil, catholic rituals and ceremony, history and art. It was brilliant, thought provoking, action packed and thrilling mystery filled with religious history, science and art.

It was quick, intriguing and thrilling read with developed characters and secrets, suspense and drama.

Lion (Faeries of Oz #0.5) by Candace Robinson — [Review] ★★★★★ / / Fantasy / / Lion was a prequel novella that is not sparkling land anymore. It revolved around the headless witch and the cowardly Lion who is not coward anymore. It was about game of power, control, deceit, and manipulations. World was amazing. This was dark, gory, gritty and edgy. It’s definitely not for kids.

The Christmas Swap by Sandy Barker — [Review] ★★★★ / / Romcom / / The Christmas Swap revolved around three friends and their Christmas Swap. It was about friendship, family, love, and Christmas magic. It was fun, entertaining and very Christamasy romcom with amazing setting, lovely characters, and 3 in 1 story- a holiday offer you wouldn’t want to miss.

Unravel the Dusk (The Blood of Stars, #2) by Elizabeth Lim — [Review] ★★★★★ / / Fantasy / / Unravel the Dusk revolved around Maia’s inner battle and her efforts in saving her country, her heart and her loved ones. The 12 Christmases of You & Me by Jennifer Joyce — [Review] ★★★★★ / / Romcom / / The 12 Christmases of You & Me revolved around Maisie’s unexpected time travel to past Christmases and face her mistakes that broke the friendship she cherished most and lost her chance at love. It was about family, friendship, and love, redemption, facing the past, and being brave to accept and express feelings before it’s too late. It was fun, engaging, cosy, and emotive romcom with well written time travel, redemption and festive theme.

Escape Room by Maren Stoffels — [Review] ★★★ (3.5 Stars) / / YA Thriller / / Escape Room revolved four friends and the escape room game they signed up going wrong. It was about revenge, mental illness, self-discovery, self-esteem issue, and friendship. It was interesting, short and quick teen/YA thriller. It was like those books that you go along with, is no- brainer, and somewhat predictable but you still enjoy it.

Finding Henry Applebee by Celia Reynolds — [Review] ★★★★★ (4.5 stars) / / Fiction / / Finding Henry Applebee revolved around three travelling companion Henry Applebee, Ariel and Travis and how their chance meeting connected them for life. It was about trauma, grief, regret, guilt, desolation, greed and vengeance, redemption, a second chance to life and love, and triumph of love over evil. It was intense, dark, heart-wrenching and captivating romantic suspense with strong female character and theme.

Vala (Highlands Series Book 2) by Michelle Dalton / / Romantic Suspense / / This was as interesting as Epona. Setting was similar, I loved meeting old characters again but this was more focused on Calla’s grief and struggle with her gift and murder investigation than romance.
