It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (20)
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?’ is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Hey Book Lovers! I hope you all had a great week. My week in reading was good, it took longer to finish last book of Kitty Hawk than I expected (review below), but I manage to finish book and write review in last week itself.
And this weekend my husband suddenly announced that we will go on vacation this month. He told me he is taking holidays as he has to use it before March end or it will be lapsed but going on vacation was not expected. We are looking for tour packages so exact dates are not fixed but we’ll definitely book tickets this week.
Now that made me think how am I going to manage bog and which books I will take with me and which I will finish before going on vacation!
last week I read and review∼∼
A Way to the Infinity World (The Left Roof #1) by Narendra Singh Nathawat, Vishvendra Singh Nathawat

Husbands and Other Sharp Objects: A Novel by Marilyn Simon Rothstein
A heartwarming, hilarious novel for anyone who has ever had a family, from the author of Lift and Separate.
After a lifetime of marriage, Marcy Hammer is ready to get herself unhitched—just as everyone else in her life is looking for a commitment. Her new boyfriend, Jon, wants to get serious, and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Harvey, is desperate to get back together. When her headstrong daughter announces a secret engagement to Harvey’s attorney, Marcy finds herself planning her daughter’s wedding as she plans her own divorce.
Now with two huge events on the horizon, the indomitable Marcy soon realizes that there’s nothing like a wedding to bring out the worst in everybody. From petty skirmishes over an ever-growing guest list to awkward confrontations with her sticky-fingered new in-laws, pulling off the wedding is going to be a challenge; seeing her divorce through is going to be a trial. And trying to make everyone happy might prove to be impossible—because in the end, Marcy alone must make a choice between something old and something new.
When I read Linda’s review on this book @Linda’s book obsession, I instantly logged in NetGalley and requested this book. I started it this morning and so far the book is interesting. Book is releasing tomorrow but I can’t possibly finish it by tomorrow.

Happiness Is Chosen Wisely: 3300 Axioms of Self-Evident Truths by Byer
Everything in life has a positive and a negative. The premise of this book is that pleasure negates happiness. It is meant to make you think about the sole desire of pleasure as our problem and not our solution, and to define the differences between pleasure and happiness as two distinct opposite states of mind.
When a desire for pleasure is the goal, those decisions can result in stress, anxiety, despair (SAD) and a fear of loss. For all pleasures last but a short time because of hedonic adaptation and are required to be reinforced at a later time over and over as a closed loop system. This requires us to give pleasure to others in order to receive pleasure in return, either by mutually pleasurable benefits of a social barter system or paying someone to give us what we desire.
Happiness, on the other hand, is our mind’s higher thinking that first must override our instinctive motivations for pleasure to be realized in our lives at all. The cause of happiness is peace, calm, tranquility, bliss and harmony, but the results are the same as the cause. This is our absence of desire from our higher thinking, wisdom, and enlightenment without any stress, anxiety or despair at all.
