March 2026 Wrap Up – Reading Thrived but Everything Else did not

March 2026 was Not chaotic, not productive, just weirdly in-between. Turned out in March Reading Thrived but Everything Else did not.

I read 6 books, turned 2,294 pages, and somehow maintained an average rating of 4.46โญ, which feels suspiciously high for a month where I was mentally everywhere except where I needed to be.

But before books, letโ€™s talk life.

March 2026 Highlights (aka me vs routine)

March honestly felt like me trying to get my life back on trackโ€ฆ and realizing itโ€™s not as easy as it sounds.

I spent most of the month just trying to fall back into a routine, and somehow, I kept procrastinating everything. Even writing book reviews, which is something I never used to delay this much. I had posts ready, sitting in Notion, completely finishedโ€ฆ and still didnโ€™t hit publish. That says a lot.

Instead, I was:

  • reading โœ”
  • crocheting โœ”
  • avoiding literally everything else โœ”

Blog? Ignored.
Social media? I ditched consistency and went with mood.
Posting? What is that.

And while a part of me feels guilty about that, I also know I probably needed it. And towards the end of the month, I finally managed to sit down, write properly, and post my trip blog. That felt like a small reset, like okayโ€ฆ maybe Iโ€™m getting back there.

On the crochet side though, March was actually really exciting. I made so many flowers, fully leaned into it, and the best partโ€ฆ I got my first order. A small tulip, sold for way less than I probably should have, but I was so genuinely happy that someone wanted something I made. That feeling alone made it worth it.

So no, March wasnโ€™t my most productive month. But it also wasnโ€™t wasted. I was still creating, still trying, still showing up in my own way.

Hoping April comes with a little more structure, a little more consistencyโ€ฆ and slightly less procrastination. Letโ€™s see ๐Ÿคž

Books I Read in March 2026

Welcome to Hyunam-dong Bookshop โญโญโญโญโญ
Soft, quiet, and deeply comforting. Itโ€™s less about running a bookshop and more about slowly finding yourself again. Feels like a warm pause from life.

Eight Million Ways to Happiness โญโญโญโญโญ
More memoir than self-help. Reflective, slow, and filled with cultural and spiritual depth. Not quick to read, but worth sitting with.

Wuthering Heights โญโญโญโญโญ
Dark, chaotic, and emotionally draining. Beautiful writing paired with frustrating characters. Not enjoyable, but definitely unforgettable.

Final Offer โญโญโญโญ.5
Second chance romance done right. Emotional, messy, and character-driven with strong growth arcs. Cal absolutely carries this book.

All of Me โญโญโญ.5
Messy, emotional, and addictive. A slow-burn romance layered with grief, healing, and complicated choices. Frustrating at times, but hard to put down.

Too Good to Be True โญโญโญ.5
Interesting premise but stretched too long. The mystery keeps you hooked, but the payoff feels underwhelming. Audiobook narration was a highlight.
