Welcome to Books Teacup and Reviews! On this blog you will find book reviews, bookish posts and mostly reviews. Before you go on and check out not very loquacious but compendious posts, here are few facts about the person who writes this small blog.
My name is Yesha Soni. I’m an avid and eclectic reader and stay-at-home mom from India. I created this blog in April 2017 and I’m reviewing books ever since.
I’m not born reader, I grew up with Indian tales and reading stories in my mother tongue (Gujarati). I started reading English novels in 2015. Books aren’t just an escape for me but helped me refine my broken English. They became an essential part of life. I wanted to talk about books I read that’s how the idea of Books Teacup and Reviews was born.
I have a master’s degree in Pharmacy, I worked for a couple of years but have to quit due to health reasons and now I have lost touch with it. I decided to be a stay-at-home parent, enjoy books and blogging, and dream my daughter will share my book love.
I read many genres but not Poetry, Erotica and Non-fictions.
My favorite genre is Fantasy. I also enjoy Romance, Women’s Fiction, Historical Fiction, Mystery, and YA, Middle-Grade books.
All time favorite books– LOTR, Percy Jackson series, Harry Potter, Shadowhunter books, Anne of Green Gables, Blood of Stars duology, Autoboyography, Priory of Orange Tree, Lunar Chronicles, Grishaverse
Apart from reading, I like watching Netflix and workout at home, and long walks.
