Wrap-Up

My kid finally got over toilet fear, yayy! #WeeklyWrapUp

Hello readers! I hope you all had great week. My week has been fantastic and you get from the title why. Yup, my kid finally got over toilet fear on her own! Not exactly on her own, it must be because of her school. Her old Pre-nursery school and now new Pre-Primary (Nursery) both get credit. Seeing other kids of her age using big toilet and her teachers or helpers there insisting her pee in toilet must have changed her mind and helped her get over her fears that we couldn’t do at home. It was big thing for us and I’m sure it won’t be long she start going in the toilet for poop as well. It made my week. It’s great outside exposure and being among kids of her age is helping her so much. And she is enjoying long hrs of school and going in school bus. We too like 6 hrs of our own. House feels so quiet in her absence.

Another good thing is I received book mail I won in a giveaway. I know I said I don’t like audiobooks but I was getting free audible for two months so why not to give it a chance. I don’t listen as much as I read but let’s see how that works.

Did I ever tell she is adventurous? She always does something like this that scares some parents. And she copies big girls not realizing she is not big like them!!

What I read

Obsidio (The Illuminae Files #3) by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff

This was fantastic closure of the trilogy. I enjoyed every part of this book. I liked there is change in pace, slow-fast-slow-fast making it a rollercoaster ride. I honestly wasn’t expecting another couple before starting this or reading the synopsis. Asha and Rhys are good but not as good as Hanna and Nick or Ezra and Kady. Again last 100 pages are mindblowing and I’m still amazed with everything that happened in those last few pages. It’s perfect! I didn’t think I will love another series after Six of Crows/Grishaverse and I know this is a different genre but I so much love this series.

Currently Reading

Business Not as Usual by Sharon C. Cooper

I’m halfway through this book and this is fun, fluffy, sexy, and entertaining so far. Some might not like Karter start dating Dreamy for her being different than other girls he dated. I know it’s cliche and that trope is annoying but somehow it isn’t that annoying here. I like that insta-lust, eyefucking scenes in the beginning and how hot and sexy it is becoming in the middle of the book. I’m expecting some drama now. Let’s see how it goes. i might finish this today.

Next this Week

The No-Show by Beth O’Leary

Three women who seemingly have nothing in common find that they’re involved with the same man in this smart new rom-com by Beth O’Leary, bestselling author of The Flatshare.

Siobhan is a quick-tempered life coach with way too much on her plate. Miranda is a tree surgeon used to being treated as just one of the guys on the job. Jane is a soft-spoken volunteer for the local charity shop with zero sense of self-worth.

These three women are strangers who have only one thing in common: They’ve all been stood up on the same day, the very worst day to be stood up–Valentine’s Day. And, unbeknownst to them, they’ve all been stood up by the same man.

Once they’ve each forgiven him for standing them up, they let him back into their lives and are in serious danger of falling in love with a man who seems to have not just one or two but three women on the go….

Is there more to him than meets the eye? And will they each untangle the truth before they all get their hearts broken?

Brace yourself, it’s going to be back-to-back romance books. What can I say I signed up for romance blitz emails I get from publisher more these days. And I would be fool to let go The No-Show by Beth O’Leary. I haven’t read any book by author yet but I have them all in my kindle and I’m really excited to read them all.

Thank you for reading! Let’s chat..,

Have you read any of these books or added to TBR?
