Weekly wrap up
Wrap-Up

Last weekly wrap up of 2021

Hello readers! I hope you had very jolly Christmas and got lots of books under the tree. My week was great. I read more than I expected. I finally could finish 3 books and reached 100 books goal of the year. So now I’m taking a break and not reading anything until next year. I’m planning to write year-end posts that I have planned. I’ll be posting them on alternate days along with reviews I still need to write and publish. We are going on holiday this weekend for a week but I will schedule the posts to go up and will blog hop whenever I’ll get time.

Last Week I Read-

Christmas at Little Beach Street Bakery (Little Beach Street Bakery #3) by Jenny Colgan

I took time between second and third books of this series and I have to say I missed author’s writing. Even though there were some stressful moments for the characters this book, reading this book was so stress-free. The best part was subplot of Kerensa’s pregnancy and Polly finally learning about her father and life message told through it. Mount Polbearne was of course another best thing in book and I also loved seeing relationships of Kerensa-Reuben and Polly-Huckle facing issues as they prepared to take next step in life. It was not perfect but definitely lovely and heartwarming last book of the trilogy.

Dog Squad by Chris Grabenstein

This was fun, entertaining and adventurous animal fiction that dog lovers and all young readers would love to read. The theme of underdog getting second chance at life and forever home and family, courage, and what true hero is was well written along with action sequence of the ‘Dog Squad’ show and life story of dogs.

Like a Love Song by Gabriela Martins

This was cute. I loved it. It was perfect book to end year with. I enjoyed romance, friendship, family dynamic and relationships, bisexual and lesbian representation, and life of Hollywood, fame and a popstar with fake dating and forced proximity arc. this is first time I’m reading a YA book with Brazilian main character and it was wonderful to read character development. I liked Natalie and William was just adorable.

Thank you for reading! Let’s chat…

Have you read any of these books or added to TBR? What are you planning to read this week?
