Weekly Wrap Up // Nightmare finally ended

Hello Readers! I hope you are well and had lovely week. My week was nightmarish and slow. I could only write 3 posts and didn’t even had mood to do anything much that impacted my reading. As I have said in last post I had to change my domain name and my site went down because of that. It took 2 full days and another one to solve my post not appearing feed and stop my profile from redirecting readers to old domain. It was true headache. I wouldn’t have done it if didn’t have technical help.

I managed to read only 1 book. Only good thing happened was a book mail.

Last Week I Read

Siege and Storm (The Shadow and Bone Trilogy #2) by Leigh Bardugo

This wasn’t as bad as I was expecting from reviews I read. I agree this was more like cat-and-mouse game and Mal was infuriating and his and Alina’s relationship was exhausting. But Nikolai made it worth reading. He sure is my new book boyfriend. He was so amazing, gave fresh breath book needed. I liked reading more about world, Grisha, history, legends and amplifiers. It was amazing to see world outside Ravka and geography of the world.

Currently Reading

The Shadow Watch (The Shadow Watch #1) by S.A. Klopfenstein

I’m half way through this. World is interesting. The Old World of Gods and Watchers was long defeated and New Wold took its place that is ruled by Oppressive ruler, Chancellor, who has unleased creatures- Morphs, humans who can turn into monster, can detect magic of Watchers – on remaining Watchers and kill them. but Some still lives in hiding forming their rebel army. Tori, main characters was watcher and when she faced Chancellor’s cruelty for displaying her power publicly, she joined this secret army of Watchers. So much was happening in first half of the book that I can’t exactly put things in words. Somethings I don’t fully understand as the world was not exactly explained in much detail. It might be there in prequel which I haven’t read. There is so much violence. I don’t understand some characters’ actions, I hope to know more rest of the book.

Next I’ll be Reading

The Winter Song by Saurav Dutt

From the acclaimed Author of ‘The Butterfly Room’ comes a powerful afterlife drama conveying how great gifts can be hidden in death and how they can bear fruit in our lives if we have the faith to let them unfold.

Somewhere between the mountains and the mist in Simla, India a widower must reconcile himself to the loss and grief that haunts him after the recent death of his wife.

Unhinged by grief, anger, and guilt, John Perera has set off on a journey, a journey to honour the love of his life and to fulfil the promise he made to her to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of their son. It is a journey of extraordinary self-discovery that will take him to the extremities of his soul and question all he believes about life, death, and faith.
