MONTHLY WRAP-UP : april 2019

Hello readers! I hope you all had great month.

This month has been good for reading and blog. Just look at the number of books I read. If you follow this blog you might know I haven’t read more than 6 books a month for long time. I managed reading, blog, and my baby pretty well. Moreover it was second blog birthday month and I got total 500 posts notification from WordPress. I also wrote my first ever discussion post and got good response. Now, that’s what I call good month. Back to wrap, here is all reviews and post I published this month-

1. A Darker Shore (Lady Evelyn Mystery #2) by Malia Zaidi — (Review)

It was thought-provoking, engaging mystery with elegant writing and wonderful characters. I surely recommend this book for a cozy read.

2. Barnabas Tew and the Case of the Cursed Serpent (Barnabas Tew #3) by Columbkill Noonan — (Review)
★★★★★ 
It was full of entertainment, humorous moments, and quirky characters. It was wonderful and amusing adventure and mystery of bumbling detectives in the Mayan world. I definitely recommend this book for humorous, light read for cozy mystery lovers.

3. Read to Your Baby Every Day: 30 classic nursery rhymes to read aloud by Cloe Giordano — (Review)

It was good collection, with beautiful art and vibrant colors . It is best gift for new mommies.

4. The Study of Silence (Lady Evelyn Mystery #3) by Malia Zaidi — (Review)

It was dramatic cozy murder mystery with engaging history , brilliant plot, developed character and vivid narration. It is best book and series for cozy mystery lovers.


5. The Golden Hour (Lady Evelyn Mystery #4) by Malia Zaidi — (Review)

It was slow but compelling cozy mystery with history, philosophy and juicy gossips and family drama.

6. The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #4) by Rick Riordan — (Review)
★★★★★ 
Another wonderful book in Percy Jackson series. This is the book I didn’t remember much after the first read and I enjoyed this more than first time read.

7. Brake Failure by Alison Brodie — (Review)

It was fun, entertaining romance with eccentric characters and their crazy action that readers of this genre would like to read.

8. The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #5) by Rick Riordan — (Review)
★★★★★ 
I just loved it. Can’t wait to read next spin-off series. It was riveting, entertaining, insightful, and impressive urban fantasy dripping with Greek myth and Humor that I recommend to fans of this genre.
