Valentina is a women’s fiction, a beautiful love story of Valentina and continued story of Chantelle Rose finding their own happily ever after loads of struggle in their life. The story was about love, forgiveness, moving with the flow of life and acceptance of fate facing it with confidence and smile. Book was loaded with lots of drama, lots of twists and surprises, narrated in entertaining voice of Chantelle that made it even more delightful read.
This is first love triangle that I loved to read and I never hated third person in both books.
Characters_edited
Oh I loved all characters in this part. Most amazing of all was Chantelle and Valentina.
Chantelle– Tall, olive skinned, earned a million by working as a body double with the famous Lionel King, now in dilemma of who she actually loves, Lionel or Robbie. And for that she had to solve a mystery connecting both her lovers. She was down to earth, relentless, resilient and so selfless. She was just amazing throughout the book. I loved her more in this book than previous one. Her development was remarkably awesome. She turned out wiser and sweetest in this book and her feeling were so real and genuine.
Valentina– She had gone through lot in life. I admired her for getting hold on life by being independent and taking over the family business after all she went through. I’m not going to ruin the story for you by telling who she was, it’s enough to know she was most important character in the book and whole book revolved around her.
Lionel and Robbie were kind of side tracked in this book. Valentina and Chantelle took over whole attention but both heroes were in middle of all the mystery. Lionel was his usual self, busy with shootings and surrounded by fame. What surprised me was his maturity and care for Chantelle after knowing the whole truth and for that only I just loved him more than Robbie. Robbie on the other hand ran off to solve the mystery without informing anyone except his mother. He was more on way to finding his true self and his true calling. But I didn’t like the way he turned into selfish man who compared everything with Lionel’s luck and what he got.
What I liked_edited
I read A Little of Chantelle Rose last October and I loved the unique engaging plot of the book so much that I instantly signed up for this blog tour when I saw an email from Jennifer. As soon as I started this book I knew I’m going to love it more than the first book and to my surprise it turned into just beautiful and wonderful story that I might remember for longer time. It started exactly from the end of the first book and as Chantelle said in the book it was truly a series of endless mysteries.
You can also read this book even though you haven’t read first one and still can enjoy it because all important details of the first book was described briefly as and when required. But I suggest to read it in order because first one narrates main characters of the book and how they met amazingly.
There was two stories in the book, one the ongoing present story of Chantelle’s messed up life, her quest to find her true love that lead her to the life story of Valentina, narrated in past through letters and diary by Valentina. I so loved those letter and diary, they story itself was engaging and mesmerizing, full of beautiful landscape of Argentina, and emotions. I loved the way both stories flowed simultaneously in first half and the effortless merge in the second half.
Chantelle’s emotions and thoughts were so heartwarming, the way she expressed her shock, confusion, care and love was just remarkable. The narration by Chantelle was extra charm of the book, she made it entertaining. I felt myself sympathizing towards both Chantelle and Valentina.
Mystery was cozy and intriguing. I was damn curious from the very start to see what Chantelle would do after finding about the news, how Lionel and Robbie will react, how she will tell them about this news, and whom she will choose and how that will affect the other. Biggest surprise was Valentina, she was biggest turn in this love triangle. After Valentina’s story, book turned into series of dramatic unexpected events.
There were lot of surprises in climax and at the end of the book. I loved the way Chantelle’s plan worked out and how she developed during her quest. I’m so excited for the third book of the series. I wonder what Chantelle will discover in it.
Overall, it was engaging, dramatic,  beautiful, feel good love story of Valentina and Chantelle that I recommend to all readers.
