It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (5)

It's Monday! What Are You ReadingIn case if you don’t know, ‘It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?’ is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Last week I finished, A Little of Chantelle Rose by Cristina Hodgson , 1 Short story, Name of Ra (review I’ll post tomorrow) and 80% of Tell Tale: Short Stories that I will finish today and start writing review.
This week,

Currently reading~~~

Steal Me (Haunted Roads #1) by India R. Adams

Steal Me.jpgSteal Me (Haunted Roads #1) by India R. Adams

“Some relationships have hidden truths that few can survive. Only us strong ones can dare listen to, and have the balls to stay and bear witness to, the result of irrevocable damages. So tell me, Maverick, are you one of the strong?”
Maverick, unfortunately, is well aware of Tucker’s meaning. Mav has recently lost his father, his mother is slipping into a depression, and his little sister is in desperate need of a parental figure. But now he’s losing his heart to Tucker’s mysterious sister, Delilah. As Maverick squints into the sun, looking at the beauty standing in front of the lake, he wonders if his heart is crazy for begging him to take on yet another tragedy.

Next books I will read this week~~~

Just Around The Bend: Más o Menos by Renée Paule

Just around the bend.jpgApparently, just around the bend is where we’ll find everything we’ve been looking forward to including; world peace, winning the lottery and a blissful retirement. That’s great, but if they’re what you’re looking for you won’t find them in this book. What you’ll find is a series of essays that examine some diverse topics about human nature, looked at from an unusual perspective and written in a way you may not have read before – plain English. I know the daily grind keeps many of us way too busy to stop and consider – or care – about the mysteries of life let alone homilies like ‘Know Thyself’; we have enough problems with ‘Where are my keys?’ But if you’re up to examining your ‘mind’ whilst I examine mine, then turn the book over and let’s get started.
Just Around The Bend: Más o Menos is my second book. Unusually, for its genres (self-help, philosophy etc.), it’s illustrated with a little character I designed and call Dilly (which means something or someone remarkable). Dilly is a thought form that thinks and he depicts some of our most endearing (and not so endearing) human traits. Ebooks are not illustrated

Pigeon Blood Red by Ed Duncan

BOOK COVERFor underworld enforcer Richard “Rico” Sanders, it seemed like an ordinary job. Retrieve his gangster boss’s priceless pigeon-blood red ruby necklace and teach the double-dealing cheat who stole it a lesson. A job like a hundred before it. But the chase quickly goes sideways and takes Rico from the mean streets of Chicago to sunny Honolulu, where the hardened hit man finds himself in uncharted territory when a couple of innocent bystanders are accidentally embroiled in the crime.
As Rico pursues his new targets, the hunter and his prey develop an unlikely respect for one another and Rico is faced with a momentous decision: follow his orders to kill the couple whose courage and character have won his admiration, or refuse and endanger the life of the woman he loves?

Hi, I'm Yesha, an Indian book blogger. Avid and eclectic reader who loves to read with a cup of tea. Not born reader but I don't think I’m going to stop reading books in this life. “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
